Poppies has been completely refurbished for 2007

Providing a very high standard of self catering accommodation, I would only offer to you something of the high standard that I would expect to find for myself and my family to stay in.

The accommodation has open plan kitchen/dining/living room, bathroom, and two bedrooms. Outside you will find plenty of space for parking and a private, enclosed garden where you can enjoy the peaceful evening using the garden furniture and BBQ provided.

The newly fitted kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob and extractor hood, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, plenty of cooking utensils and all the normal kitchen items. All cleaning materials are also supplied for your use.

The modern yet comfortable living space is divided into two areas. A dining area with a table that will seat six and a relaxing lounge area with leather sofas, coffee table, lamps and a television with built in freeview along with a DVD player.

The lounge is full of items to help you relax and enjoy your stay, books, dvd’s, local books to help you discover the area and plenty of tourist/information leaflets to give you ideas of local places to see and visit during your stay.

The bedrooms are newly fitted out with contrasting soft furnishings and ample storage space. The main bedroom has a king size bed, with plenty of hanging and drawer space. There is also a hairdryer for your use.
The second bedroom sleeps three, as the bunk beds have a pull out bed underneath that can be arranged in a number of ways to suit your needs. Again, this room has plenty of hanging and drawer space.

The bathroom has also been newly fitted, there is a full size bath and a shower. You will also find handmade soaps and bath additives. All products are additive free and theres even some special ones to encourage the younger guests to clean up.

All linen and towels are provided for you. If you stay for a seven day break, all towels will be changed mid week; if you are staying for two weeks fresh linen is available for the second week.

For families staying at Poppies we pride ourselves in making their holiday an easy and enjoyable experience, this is based on some of the disasters we had whilst holidaying with our three children when they were younger. We can provide you with many items including: travel cots, highchairs and pushchairs. The children can even leave their toys at home as we have plenty for them to play with.

We can offer many items, to make packing easier. Take a look at our gallery and under the page ‘Families’ you will see everything we have to offer a family coming to stay at Poppies. In addition to what can be seen in the images we have various everyday items such as: childrens cutlery, bowls, plates, cups, hand blender, potties, toilet step, changing mats, bedguard, steam sterilizer, bottle warmer, all doors are protected with door slammers to prevent little fingers being caught and sockets protected with socket covers. These items are always being added to or replaced so everything will be in as new condition for you to use.
